Online Sessions

My sessions are usually for an hour but two hour sessions are fine.

Each session is conducted through Skype or Zoom. Online sessions are ideal as they enable more flexibility with times. I have also taught sessions to students in Athens, Bahrain, California, Dubai, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait and Russia, teaching through the internet is rapidly becoming a successful and proven method in tuition. The resources for each session are all produced on Microsoft Word and are emailed to each student at least 15 minutes before the session to allow printing etc. I use the latest up to date source material and theory to enable me to create custom relevant and bespoke resources to be used by my students.

I work through the resources with the student and often there will be a youtube link for a short relevant video that can be discussed in the session. Each session will contain an exam question based upon the content of the session and supported by a mark scheme and answer plan.

It is expected that the student will then be able to complete the question and email their answer to me before the next session. This enables me to mark their response. The students can clearly see where their marks have been awarded and detailed feedback is also given at the bottom of their homework. This is then emailed back to them before the next session.

The first few minutes of each session is allocated to verbal feedback on their homework.

This level of one to one and detailed feedback enables the student to see clearly what they did well and where they may need to improve in the future. I always praise the students and develop an excellent professional relationship with them.
